"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Diana Street is the kind of advocate every insurance customer needs I recently had a situation with my condo where my property management company hired Servpro to do work. When I asked the management company to get three bids to ensure we got a good company and competitive pricing, they told me they already worked with Servpro and that I, as the owner, did not have an option. Initially, Servpro did not provide approvals, protocols, or sufficient pictures to justify the work. As a result, State Farm could not approve payment. You would think a company like Servpro—one that does this type of work regularly—would be accustomed to following standard insurance protocols. Unfortunately, there were repeated charges for items, and the documentation simply was not there. It took escalating the issue to top management to get the case reviewed. The process ended up taking more than 80 days to finally receive the necessary pictures from Servpro. To be clear, that delay was not State Farm's fault. Both I and Diana Street asked repeatedly for those pictures, and they were a long time coming. That is where Diana Street at State Farm made all the difference. She insisted on following proper insurance protocol and protecting every dollar spent. She and the lead from Servpro went through the overcharges line by line. Thanks to State Farm being a good watchdog and truly taking care of their customer, we finally received the pictures that justified the actual work performed. Diana never gave up. She made sure State Farm did not pay a cent without proper justification. I cannot say enough about her persistence and integrity. This situation should also be instructive for any company that works with insurance carriers. Servpro is a well-known company, and I believe they have learned from this experience how important it is to provide proper documentation, avoid overcharging, and supply the necessary pictures in a timely manner. Other companies should take note. When everyone follows the same clear protocols that Diana Street insisted on, the process works better for everyone. I work through Brandon Kim's State Farm office. Brandon's office did not handle this situation directly, but they were helpful and quick to get me in contact with the right adjusters and those who approve claims. Having a responsive local office made a difference in getting me to the right people. I am so impressed with how Diana Street handled this. She is exactly the kind of person we need working for insurance companies. She held a vendor accountable, addressed overcharges line by line, and made sure everything followed proper protocol. That kind of work helps keep our premiums as low as possible. Often, people don't praise insurance companies because we pay high premiums and worry that filing a claim will lead to being dropped or non-renewed. But Diana Street showed me the good side of insurance: an advocate who ensures you are only charged for justified work and that your coverage actually protects you the way it should. We need more people like Diana Street in the insurance industry.
